Did we tell you about the Sennheiser Momentum 4? No? Never mind—we didn’t. And also never mind that it’s a still-selling, two-year-old model, because good sound doesn’t age out. In fact, it just got a fresh look: introducing the Sennheiser Momentum 4 80th Anniversary. If you’re a style-conscious, art-loving kind of person, you’ll want this pair of limited-edition cans.
To mark 80 years of innovation and craftsmanship in the audio game, Sennheiser teamed up with German graffiti artist Bond Truluv to give the Momentum 4 an artsy makeover. The result is a striking gunmetal-and-yellow headphone featuring the artist’s work. On the left earcup, you’ll find a vibrant “Throwie”-style character; on the right, dynamic sound waves and intricate detailing. A yellow “80” lurks in a contrasting yet subtle way, announcing its celebratory intent.
I love how the design doesn’t stop at the earcups—it extends to the headband with a bold black-and-yellow colorway. Rounding out the package is limited-edition packaging that nods to Sennheiser’s heritage.
Beyond the standout aesthetic, the Sennheiser Momentum 4 80th Anniversary is still the same award-winning can, with features like Sennheiser’s signature sound through 42 mm dynamic drivers, Bluetooth 5.2, support for aptX Adaptive, AAC, and SBC codecs, hybrid adaptive ANC and Transparency Mode, up to 60 hours of battery life with ANC via Bluetooth, and customizable sound via the Sennheiser Smart Control+ app.
It comes with a carrying case, a USB-C cable, a 1.2 m audio cable, and an airplane adapter. The Sennheiser Momentum 4 80th Anniversary, launched this month, is available in many regions, including Singapore (S$379). It’s not listed in the U.S., but you can get it through Thomann Music for US$293.
