TECNO may have established itself as the brand with the most thin-phone models, but like many ambitious Chinese tech companies, it has tablets and laptops, too. Speaking of laptops, it took to the stage at IFA to share its next game plan: a convertible series.
Folks, meet the TECNO MEGABOOK T15 360 Series, the company’s first laptop family with a touchscreen and a hinge capable of rotating through a full 360 degrees. The lineup comprises the standard MEGABOOK T15 360 and the better-equipped T15 360 Pro.
Like other convertibles, it can operate in Laptop, Tablet, Tent, and Stand modes. Laptop mode is for pretending to be productive, Tablet mode is for scribbling notes, Tent mode is for watching videos on cramped tables, and Stand mode is for showing colleagues the presentation you finished five minutes before the meeting.
Both models have a CNC-machined all-metal body and a 15.6-inch, 16:9 touchscreen with 10-point multitouch. An optional MPP 2.0 active pen adds handwriting, annotation, and drawing support, though TECNO has not said whether it will be included or sold separately.
The main differences are in the display. The regular T15 360 gets a Full HD panel with a 60Hz refresh rate and 320 nits of typical brightness. The Pro upgrades to a 2.5K display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 100% sRGB color coverage, and 350 nits of brightness. That is the one your eyes will lobby for.
Configurations stretch up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor, accompanied by LPDDR5X memory running at up to 7,467MHz and PCIe M.2 storage. Selected versions also include a second M.2 slot, allowing you to add more storage when your Downloads folder becomes an archaeological site.
Other highlights include a 70Wh battery, compact 65W GaN charger, up to Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4, seven built-in ports, a backlit keyboard with a numeric keypad, fingerprint power button, dual speakers with DTS Ultra, webcam, and dual microphones. TECNO OneLeap also enables cross-device collaboration with compatible phones, tablets, and PCs.
TECNO showed the MEGABOOK T15 360 Series at IFA ShowStoppers 2026 but revealed no pricing or availability. For now, then, we know it folds backward. We just do not know when it will move forward onto store shelves.
