Corsair clearly understands this because it subjected the new TC80 Gaming Chair to more than 30 safety, load, and durability tests. I kid you not.
Those trials include dropping 136 kg (300 lbs) onto the seat, performing 300,000 tilt cycles with a 109 kg (240 lbs) load, and repeatedly dropping 57 kg (126 lbs) onto it 100,000 times. Corsair also tortured the armrests, backrest, swivel mechanism, and stability until the TC80 met BIFMA X5.1 and EN 1335 standards. So, yes, it should survive you leaning forward during the final boss fight.
Comfort comes from a wide, flat seat with plush padding, breathable fabric upholstery, and leatherette accents. A detachable neck pillow provides additional support, while linkage armrests follow the chair as it reclines.
The TC80 offers 100 mm (3.9 inches) of height adjustment and smoothly reclines between 90 and 115 degrees without restricting you to preset positions. Underneath are a steel five-star base, 50 mm casters, and a Class 4 gas lift.
