Fans of Godzilla stateside are in for a treat. As Toho and Gkids announced that ticket sales had commenced for Godzilla Minus Zero, it was also revealed that there will be Godzilla Day IMAX Early Access screenings on November 03, 2026. A new poster announcing this early screening date has also been released.
After the exclusive IMAX Early Access screenings, the film will receive a wide theatrical release in premium and standard formats starting November 6. Tickets are on sale now for all formats.
Some lucky folks may have seen it when the movie made its world premiere as the Spotlight Gala selection for the 64th New York Film Festival on September 26. We heard it had “roaring reviews”. U.K. fans have not been forgotten. The U.K. premiere is set to happen on October 14, 2026, at the BFI London Film Festival.
Meanwhile, Godzilla has headed to New York Comic Con (October 08–11) at the Javits Center. During this time at NYCC, fans can go behind the scenes of Godzilla Minus Zero at a panel featuring members of the film’s production team, enjoy other events, and explore exhibitors’ collectibles, comics, and accessories celebrating the King of the Monsters. You can check out the details here.
But those are just part of the good news. Along with the screenings come collectibles (but of course). A lineup of collectible concessions is arriving ahead of the film’s theatrical release. Starting October 07, fans in the United States and Canada can pick up limited-edition popcorn containers and cups at nearly 3,000 participating theatres.
I suspect at this point, they are selling out fast, especially the full-figure Godzilla popcorn bucket, which lets you eat out of Godzilla’s back. There is also a Heat Ray Cup, a Swimming Godzilla Bucket, a 3D Aqua Cup, a 230 oz Popcorn Tin, a Godzilla Minus Zero Cup, and a Godzilla Minus Zero Popcorn Tub.
We shall not describe them. Instead, we invite you to have a look at the renderings of this merch included in this post.
