If getting “swallowed” by Godzilla while zip-lining is not a good enough reason to hit up a Godzilla-themed park, Nijigen no Mori has created another reason for you to do so. After the adorable Godzilla backpack, the park is out to entice you to sign up for the VIP Journey Pass for the popular Godzilla Interception Operation attraction, which comes with a collector-worthy exclusive “GODZILLA” sukajan jacket.
The new jacket is a completely original design featuring the giant Awaji Island Godzilla towering amid massive waves. It is the second sukajan collaboration design between Nijigen no Mori and Godzilla. Sukajan jackets, originally a Japanese style later embraced by luxury fashion brands worldwide, are given a kaiju twist here with a dark yet stylish look meant to appeal to both fans and collectors.
The VIP Journey Pass [JP] includes:
- Access to attractions like the pre-show theater, unlimited zipline rides through Godzilla, a shooting game, a Godzilla Museum, a special effects studio, a puzzle game, and more
- One exclusive “GODZILLA” sukajan jacket, either the first or second design version
Prices range from 30,200 yen to 31,000 yen for adults and 28,600 yen to 29,000 yen for children, depending on size selection.
Other highlights include the broader Godzilla Interception Operation attraction on Awaji Island, where visitors become members of the National Godzilla Awaji Island Research Center and take on missions involving the life-sized 120-meter Godzilla attraction, including ziplining into Godzilla’s body and battling Godzilla cells in a shooting game.
In addition, Nijigen no Mori continues to offer exclusive Godzilla merchandise and themed collaboration rooms at the nearby GRAND CHARIOT Hokutoshichisei 135° villa resort, including monster-themed rooms packed [JP] with Showa-era Godzilla memorabilia and hidden-kaiju gimmicks [JP].
