Fresh from putting the Hill Valley Clock Tower on your wrist, U-Treasure now wants to make you a graduate of Hill Valley High School. Never mind that the school is fictional, you never attended it, and you probably were not alive in 1955. Administrative details.
The Back to the Future College Ring: Hill Valley High School 1955 Version imagines what a graduation ring from Marty McFly’s parents’ alma mater might have looked like. Basically, it is a wearable diploma from a school you never attended in a timeline you did not live through. Sounds legit.
Made from oxidized sterling silver, the chunky ring features an 8 mm cubic zirconia surrounded by the words “HILL VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL.” One side bears the date November 12, 1955, along with the dolphin from the Enchantment Under the Sea dance poster. The other features a relief of the school building.
That date is significant because it was when George McFly finally kissed Lorraine at the dance, thus saving Marty and his siblings from slowly disappearing from a family photograph. It was also the night Marty introduced an unsuspecting 1955 audience to “Johnny B. Goode,” leaving them confused but giving Chuck Berry’s fictional cousin something useful to share over the telephone.
Anyhoo, the ring measures between 4.8 and 14.1 mm wide, stands 6.8 mm above the finger at the stone, and is offered in Japanese sizes 11 through 25.
Reservations for the Hill Valley High School 1955 College Ring run from August 4 through September 7, 2026. Shipping is expected to begin around January 8, 2027. It commands 48,400 yen [JP], or roughly US$304.
Sadly, wearing it will not grant you a diploma, improve your grades, or prevent Biff from shoving you into a locker. I doubt any true fan would bear to wear it anyway. Like the timepiece, it is probably for the BTTF shrine (read: display cabinet).
