HTC One Google Play Edition

HTC One Google Play Edition

when there’s the other big player offering stock Android experience of their flagship handset, it is hard for this other big player (read: HTC) to resist the temptation to do the same. which is why now, to the joy (or dismay, depending where you stand) of HTC fans, you can now experience the power and beauty of the hardware that the HTC One has to offer, along with the wholesome goodness of the stock Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS with the HTC One Google Play Edition aka HTC One with stock Android OS. that means there’s no Sense, no fancy BlinkFeed or whatsoever to get between you and the beautiful, aluminum-clad handset. most importantly, you will still get the awesome dual front-facing speakers and audio reproduction bolstered by Beats.

as with all other Nexus-branded devices, the HTC One Google Play Edition will automatically receive software updates direct from Google, which means you get update as and when they are being pushed out. additionally, there are a couple of “minor” but sometimes overlooked benefits such as a faster and cleaner user experience, and a slight improve in storage capacity now that the fancy UI is out of the way. the HTC One will come SIM-unlocked, along with unlocked bootloader, 32GB internal storage, and supports 4G LTE, as well as 3G with HSPA+. priced at $599, this special edition device is available now from Google Play (US). availability for the HTC One Google Play Edition elsewhere is yet to be confirmed.
