You may never own Ayrton Senna’s record-setting Formula 1 car, but you sure can own the LEGO set of it. And now, you can even own the F1 legend’s helmet. Well, a scale, buildable one, that is. Folks, this is the LEGO Editions Ayrton Senna Helmet (43024).
Comprising 931 pieces, the display model recreates Senna’s instantly recognizable racing helmet in bright yellow with green detailing inspired by the Brazilian flag. Printed sponsor logos complete the period-correct appearance without requiring you to apply a terrifying sheet of tiny stickers while holding your breath.
The finished helmet measures over 19 cm (7.5 inches) high, 13 cm (5 inches) wide, and 13 cm (5 inches) deep. In other words, no, you cannot wear it unless your head is unusually small, exceptionally square, and covered in studs.
Also included is an Ayrton Senna minifigure dressed in racing pants and a T-shirt printed with Senninha, the cartoon character Senna created to inspire children. He comes with his own miniature helmet and can be displayed beside a signature plaque.
