Well, the LEGO Hogwarts Express has to go somewhere after departing Platform Nine and Three Quarters, and so here it is, the LEGO Hogwarts Express Train Set with Hogsmeade Station (76423) set. The only shortfall is, isn’t UCS-scale like the LEGO Hogwarts Express Collectors’ Edition.
But hey, it’s the freaking Hogsmeade Station, ain’t it? The 1,074-piece set lets you recreate the memorable scene where Hagrid greets first-year Hogwarts students arriving at the Hogsmeade Station on the Hogwarts Express. The set includes the Hogwarts Express with an engine, a coal car, and two passenger carriages. The train further features a rotating front buffer beam for off-track travel in and out of the Wizarding World.
Meanwhile, the Hogsmeade Station is as detailed as it can be, boasting a ticket office, Owl Post, restroom, a sign with directions to Hogsmeade and Hogwarts, and of course, the platform.
The set also includes a family photo album accessory, a buildable sweet trolley, and no less than 8 LEGO minifigures, including Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Draco Malfoy, Lee Jordan, Rubeus Hagrid, the Trolley Witch, and the train conductor.
When completed, the LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Express toy train measures over 3 in. (8 cm) high, 23 inc. (59 cm), and 2 in. (6 cm) wide.
