How many cat lovers here can’t have cats because of various reasons? If you are one of them, you are going to love the LEGO Ideas Tuxedo Cat (21349). This 1,710-piece set may be based on LEGO Ideas member The Yellow Brick’s submission but it is not quite the same.
The original design was based on The Yellow Brick’s cat Miro which is a cross of a Siamese and Birman cat but the final design is a black-and-white tuxedo cat. The change of breed also results in different facial features. Whereas the Siamese/Birman mix has a longer snout and the tuxedo cat has a much flatter snout. The ears are a little different too.
And where the original proposed LEGO Ideas set includes a bowl with milk and a fish bone, the final design does not. But the LEGO Ideas Tuxedo Cat (21349) made it up with other gimmicks, including the ability to pose in various playful positions, and it comes with options for yellow or blue eyes and an open or closed mouth.
This set is perfect for both cat owners and cat lovers who cannot own cats. When completed, dear tuxedo kitty here stands 32 cm (12.5 inches) tall which is pretty much life-size.
