LEGO’s Fantastic Four vs. Galactus Set: World-Eating Fun In 427 Pieces

LEGO Marvel Fantastic Four vs. Galactus Construction Figure (76316)

Whether or not the Fantastic Four movie reboot, Fantastic Four: First Steps, under Disney will successfully spearhead the next era for the MCU remains to be seen. Right now, it’s all about merch, and LEGO has one that I think is pretty cool. Folks, meet the LEGO Marvel Fantastic Four vs. Galactus Construction Figure (76316).

The star of the show is the supervillain, the planet-eating Galactus, a.k.a. the Devourer of Worlds. Using a modest 427 pieces, the set lets you recreate a posable figure of this monstrosity from the Marvel Universe. When completed, the fully-jointed figure towers at an impressive 28 cm (11 inches) tall and offers posability so he can beat the hell out of those Fantastic Bugs—wait, I mean the Fantastic Four.

Speaking of which, it comes with minifigures of the team, and each minifigure is rocking its own unique accessory. Mr. Fantastic has extendable legs, Human Torch has hand blasters, feet flames, and a flight prop to allow him to “fly” (read: buzz) around Galactus, Invisible Woman has force shields, and The Thing has extra-large hands to pound the sh*t out of Galactus… well, his feet. Maybe?

Unlike the movie, which has yet to hit theaters, the LEGO Marvel Fantastic Four vs. Galactus Construction Figure (76316) is already available to buy and ready to ship for US$59.99.
