LEGO Recreates Spider-Man 2’s Most Meme-Worthy Train Stop

LEGO Marvel Spider-Man vs. Doc Ock Subway Train Scene (76321)

The now-iconic scene of Spider-Man (played by Tobey Maguire, bless his strained facial expressions) stopping a sabotaged subway from going off the rails has finally been immortalized in plastic bricks. Yes, the unforgettable moment from Spider-Man 2 (2004), where Spidey does his best impression of a human brake system, is now a LEGO set.

The LEGO Marvel Spider-Man vs. Doc Ock Subway Train Scene (76321) lets you build the fateful stretch of subway with 393 pieces, and it even includes the webs to catch falling passengers—because Spidey has to do what Spidey does.

You get four minifigures: Spider-Man, Doc Ock, J. Jonah Jameson, and Aunt May. Spidey comes with interchangeable masked and unmasked heads for maximum meme potential, and Doc Ock’s tentacles are jointed so he can properly menace both the train and your sanity. The train itself is surprisingly detailed, with a lift-off roof revealing an interior big enough for passengers to sit and panic.

When completed, this made-for-kids age 9 and up measures 8 cm high, 23 cm long, and 5 cm wide (around 3 x 9 x 2 inches). The LEGO Spider-Man vs. Doc Ock Subway Train Scene (76321) has swing onto the shelves since July 31 for US$49.99.
