I bet fans of the silver screen adaptation of Frank Herbert’s Dune will be clamoring over this wonderful diorama by muad_brick aka Fabio. I know right? It is an impressive LEGO MOC. It had me at hello. Unfortunately, though, there is next to no information on this MOC by this occasional MOC creator but let’s be honest. Do you need more info? OK. Maybe besides wanting the instructions to it.
This intricate LEGO creation showcases an Ornithopter encountering a massive sandworm (the Shai-Hulud) that has emerged from the barren land of Arrakis and in front of it are two minifigures, presumably of the Fremens. We do not know the size but by more poor estimate, it looks like it is 50-ish stud long which makes it about 40-ish long. I could be wrong.
In any case, those with experience with LEGO sets should be able to reference the size also based on the countless LEGO Part 53451 Animal Body Part for the teeth of the Shai-Hulud. Anyhoo, you can check out more of Fabio’s work (which mostly features minifigures, btw) on Instagram.
