Rebrickable member Lucky-Ramses have a created a LEGO MOC of the Hamm 1911 Roadroller and it looks just like the real-deal, except that it is made entirely out of LEGO elements. Very impressive. It is kind of steampunk-ish if it was in bronze. If you haven’t got a clue, Hamm is a German company that makes road construction and earth works equipment and the Hamm 1911 Roadroller was the world’s first motorized road roller.
As you can see, this particular LEGO-lized version is somewhat of a significance. It is a piece of the modern civilization’s rich history. Lucky-Ramses’ LEGO MOC Hamm 1911 Roadroller is not a big set though (I wish it was). It has just 476 pieces to it. According to the avid LEGO MOC builder, he did use some building technics that aren’t quite conventional and hence, it can’t be drawn out with LEGO Digital Designer (or LDD for short).
As beautiful as this set is, it is, unfortunately, not an official LEGO thing. But the good news, Lucky-Ramses is kind enough to let anyone who is keen to build their own to have the building instructions (and the parts inventory) for free.
