If you thought a TV with a concrete back panel was an unusual offering from German luxury electronics maker LOEWE., wait till you see what it has cooked up with Jacob & Co. Yes, the same Jacob & Co. responsible for some of the world’s most extravagant watches. The two have joined forces to create a pair of headphones that you might want to insure before putting on your head.
Meet the LOEWE. x Jacob & Co. Headphones Collection, featuring two rather extravagant versions of the Loewe leo headphones: Noir Rainbow and Ice Diamond. And no, those sparkly bits aren’t decorative plastic pretending to be precious stones.
The Noir Rainbow edition features a handcrafted 14K rose gold ring adorned with 15.97 carats of colorful gemstones. The Ice Diamond, meanwhile, takes a different approach with a polished 14K white gold ring weighing 42.5 g (1.5 oz), set with 456 round brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 12.47 carats.
Yes, we’re still talking about headphones.
Beneath all that jewelry is the familiar Loewe leo audio hardware, featuring adaptive active noise cancellation, personalized sound based on your hearing profile, and up to 65 hours of battery life. The headphones also boast anodized aluminum construction, genuine leather, and plush memory foam ear cushions.
There’s even AI functionality through the Loewe leo app, including a personal voice assistant, language translation, and the ability to capture ideas. So, they’re not merely expensive things to wear on your head.
Both editions are handcrafted, making them as much collector’s pieces as audio equipment. Whether you’ll actually wear them on the subway is another matter entirely.
As for pricing, LOEWE. doesn’t publish it on the official product pages. Both editions are listed as retail-only, with interested buyers directed to contact the company for further details. But if you really must know, we heard estimates put the Noir Rainbow edition at approximately US$115,000 and the Ice Diamond edition at a grand US$135,000.
The LOEWE. x Jacob & Co luxury audio collaboration officially launched in late August / early September 2025.
