If you are a huge fan of Hulkbuster who would not let any variant slip past you, then you will not want to miss this. Folks, meet the new Marvel Legends Series Punisher (Hulkbuster Armor). And yes, I said “variant” because there were more. There was the original Model 13, the World War Hulk-era variants, the module Hulkbuster upgrades spread across multiple eras, and more.
Anyhoo, the infamous vigilante once donned the Hulkbuster suit, but it had a very different purpose from the original Hulkbuster intent. It was not for restraining the Hulk, or absorbing the trauma unleashed by that green creature; it was for escalating force until the problem stopped moving. In other words, it is a walking weapons platform. So, yeah, it is pretty much a mecha warrior for Frank Castle.
OK. I lied. It is actually for taking on Hulk, but instead of the green version, it was Frank’s answer to Red Hulk. Frank in oversized Stark tech predates his time with the Punisher War Machine suit, btw.
As for the toy, it is a 6-inch (15 cm) scale Marvel Legends figure inspired by Marvel’s The Punisher vs. Thunderbolts comics, in a premium design with over 25 points of articulation, featuring a fully poseable head, arms, and legs. The figure includes 12 accessories, including an alternate head, 2 missile launchers, 2 missiles, a rotary cannon, and weapon FX pieces.
