The Legendary WRC Racer Fiat 131 Abarth Gets Immortalized In Plastic Bricks!

Officially Licensed CaDA Fiat 131 Abarth (C51092)

Chinese brick-built toy maker CaDA is the company to look out for if you are into brick-built/Technic-style car models. Following the super cool officially licensed 2008 Citroën C4 WRC is another rally legend, the Fiat 131 Abarth. The Officially Licensed CaDA Fiat 131 Abarth (C51092) is a 1:20 scale brick-built recreation of the three-time WRC champion car.

The WRC racer which this model is based on bagged the manufacturer’s championship in 1977, 1978, and 1980. Its square-ish body lines, the wide wheel arches, and the unique rear wing that illustrate the exquisiteness of that era’s racing car design have been perfectly replicated using CaDA plastic bricks.

However, looking almost like a car model is not the only highlight; it is also a remote-controlled toy car. Actually, it is more than an RC toy; it is a learning toy. You may control the Officially Licensed CaDA Fiat 131 Abarth (C51092) [CH] model using the included DOUBLEE remote controller, or program a drive sequence using Scratch programming on a phone. So, it is not just a cool brick-built model but it is also one that will get kids started in Scratch programming.

Other features of the model include the Fiat 131 Abarth’s iconic front grilled, classic Olio Fiat paint job, and an accurate replica of the rear complete with wide fenders found on the rear car. When completed, the model measures 19.4 cm long, 8 cm wide, and 7.8 cm tall (7.6 x 3.1 x 3 inches).

The Officially Licensed CaDA Fiat 131 Abarth (C51092) is supposed to be available as we speak but we did not find listed on its official store on JD.com yet. We also do not know how much it retails for.
