If you like building blocks like LEGO and are also a fan of motorsports, then we have awesome news for you. CaDA, the DOUBLEE Ltd-owned building block toy company, has recently revealed a collaboration with French automaker Citroën for an Officially Licensed Citroën C4 WRC building set.
The CaDA Officially Licensed Citroën C4 WRC (C51078W) Building Set uses 329 pieces to recreate the 2008 WRC winner with an incredible level of detail.
It boasts a highly detailed replica front end, and details like a roof antenna, huge rear wing, exposed spare tire on the rear roof, officially licensed Citroën logo and branding, and brick-built rear mirror. The only it lacks is the sponsor logo which, presumably, CaDA never managed to secure.
When completed, this 1:20 scale brick-built of the WRC winner measures just 19.8 cm long, 9.6 cm wide, and 8.2 cm tall (7.8 x 3.8 x 3.2 inches). It is not huge but it is not a built-and-display model either; it is a remote-controlled toy car too.
Powered by CaDA’s Smart Power Module that enables you to wirelessly control the CaDA Officially Licensed Citroën C4 WRC using a smartphone app, or with the included 2.4 GHz remote controller. The RC function affords it up to 25 meters (82 feet) of range.
When controlling using the app, you have four control modes, namely, remote control, programming mode, gyroscope mode (you know, control by rotating the phone), and path mode. The latter sets the car on a pre-planned route while programming mode, lets you dictate a set of sequences.
