LEGO Star Wars Mos Eisley Cantina First Look

Fans of the original Star Wars Trilogy, aka the only Star Wars films worth-watching (and remembering), has a bit of a surprise treat – thanks to a supposed blunder by LEGO South Korea’s social media staff.

A lone image of the LEGO 75290 Star Wars Mos Eisley Cantina was posted on LEGO South Korea’s Facebook page, which has since been taken down.

It is a massive set, packing 3,187 pieces and it will include a whopping 21 minifigures to let you recreate one of the most, if not the most, iconic places in the Star Wars universe. We love the fact that the set does include a Dewback and the V-35 Landspeeder.

No doubt it is a UCS-grade set and one aimed squarely at adult fans of LEGO (AFOL). The set is recommended for ages 18 and up, and it is slated to be available to LEGO VIP members on September 16, or at least it is for South Korea.

According to Stonewars.de, the price is tipped to be €349.99 (about US$415 based on today’s going rate, but my guess is, it will cost US$399.99 in stateside). This should be this year’s most anticipated Star Wars set since the LEGO Bespin Duel, but looking at the price, I may have to give it a pass.
