We may be a little late to this party, but when Pokémon is involved, we simply cannot let it slide. Beats has teamed up with The Pokémon Company to create a special-edition Beats Pill Bluetooth speaker featuring two familiar faces: Pikachu and Mimikyu. Unfortunately, before you reach for your wallet, this little collectible has already sold out. But hey, that doesn’t mean we can’t admire it.
The speaker features a two-tone design, with Pikachu’s unmistakable electric yellow on one side and a grayscale Mimikyu on the other. Both Pokémon appear on the speaker grille, making this one rather adorable piece of audio hardware.
And because Pokémon merchandise wouldn’t be complete without a little something extra, Beats has included a color-matched carrying lanyard adorned with custom charms, including a Poké Ball. Even the packaging gets special treatment, with an interactive element you can move. There are exclusive stickers in the box, too.
Underneath the Pokémon makeover is the familiar Beats Pill, complete with a custom acoustic system designed to deliver deep bass and room-filling sound. It supports high-resolution lossless audio through USB-C, while two Beats Pills can be paired for louder sound or stereo playback.
Other highlights include up to 24 hours of battery life, IP67 dust and water resistance, and the ability to charge a compatible smartphone through USB-C.
Released on October 15, 2026, the special-edition speaker was offered through Apple and selected retailers in the US, UK, and China. Beats currently lists it as sold out.
The Special Edition Pokémon Beats Pill Bluetooth Speaker was priced at US$149.99.
