Toyota GR Turns Rally Japan 2026 Into a Festival of Piyorin, G-Shocks, and Rally Merch

Toyota GAZOO Racing x Rally Japan 2026

Toyota GAZOO Racing is turning Rally Japan 2026 into a full-blown merch-and-snack festival. Ahead of the FIA World Rally Championship’s Japanese round happening from May 28–31 in Aichi and Gifu, GR announced a huge lineup of commemorative goods and collaborations celebrating Takamoto Katsuta’s historic first WRC victory at Safari Rally Kenya earlier this year—the first WRC win by a Japanese driver in 34 years.

The celebration includes limited-edition Katsuta merchandise like metal art prints, towels, pins, and clear files, alongside a surprisingly fun collection of food collaborations. Nagoya’s famous chick-shaped dessert “Piyorin” gets a GR makeover with rally driver and co-driver themed versions dressed in Toyota Gazoo Racing colors and flavored with raspberry and chocolate. Meanwhile, bakery Pan no Tora is selling GR-inspired pastries, including a steering-wheel-shaped donut and GR-logo Danish bread.

There is also a mountain of collaboration merch on the way, including apparel with BREEZE and JOURNAL STANDARD relume, JAL-themed flight tags, and even a GR x G-SHOCK watch. Most items will be sold at Rally Japan venues, Toyota Gazoo Racing stores, and selected partner locations throughout the event period.
