Hall Effect is the newest buzzword in the world of gaming peripherals. Not surprisingly, the biggest name in gaming hardware, Razer, wants in. It is doing so with the new Huntsman V3 HE Magnetic 8KHz line, which comes in Tenkeyless and Mini 65% forms, packing adjustable 0.1–4.0 mm actuation, Rapid Trigger, and true 8,000 Hz polling.
Snap Flex assigns actions to pressing and releasing a key, while Dynamic Keystroke squeezes up to four commands from one key according to how deeply you press it. Instant Cancel and Dual-Keypress Priority prevent your fingers from issuing contradictory orders. Settings can be adjusted through Synapse, onboard controls, or Synapse Web without installing anything.
The Huntsman V3 HE Magnetic 8KHz Tenkeyless and Mini 65% are available now for US$139.99 and US$119.99, respectively, from Razer.com and on Amazon.com.
