If you are in the market for a laptop for business—specifically for enterprise IT environments—and need to do so with a lot of power and style, Samsung has you covered. The Korean electronics giant has tailored its Galaxy Book6 into an enterprise powerhouse built specifically for enterprise IT environments. It is the first Galaxy Book designed for enterprise.
Simply called the Galaxy Book6 Enterprise Edition, this business machine supports enterprise deployment with custom OS imaging, BIOS configuration, and asset tagging for standardized, ready-to-use PC fleets. So no, it is not just a laptop slapped with the “business” namesake. It is a proper business machine.
Powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors with Intel vPro, it extends the connected Galaxy experience into business for unified, secure enterprise computing and cross-device workflows. The device can also be configured with Windows Autopilot if so desired.
Beyond the obvious, like immediate-use systems with standardized configurations across device fleets, the Enterprise Edition also brings enterprise-grade security to the table. It integrates hardware-level protections, platform security, and standardized configurations that help maintain control.
The device features secure biometric authentication with a built-in fingerprint sensor and IR camera, affording users fast, password-free sign-in via Windows Hello. Moreover, it meets National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards for platform integrity and firmware resilience. Backed by Samsung Knox and a dedicated Trusted Platform Module (dTPM), it uses layered hardware and software protections to help safeguard devices and sensitive data against cyber threats.
As a true workhorse, the Samsung Galaxy Book6 Enterprise Edition boosts productivity with Galaxy AI features powered by a 49 TOPS NPU, enabling AI-assisted tools like on-screen translation, note summarization, image editing, and natural-language file search. It also extends Samsung’s connected Galaxy ecosystem into the workplace with features such as Quick Share, Multi Control, Second Screen, Link to Windows, and Samsung Find for seamless cross-device workflows.
It is clearly designed with business users on the move in mind. The laptop boasts a slim 14.9 mm chassis available in 14-inch and 16-inch models, along with a 61.2 Wh battery that offers up to 24 hours of video playback and fast charging.
Also, it is super lightweight, tipping the scales at just 1.74 kilograms (3.84 pounds) for the 16-inch model and a mere 1.43 kilograms (3.15 pounds) for the 14-inch model. To put things into perspective, the M5 chip Apple MacBook Pro 16-inch weighs 2.14–2.15 kilograms (4.72–4.74 pounds), while the 14-inch MBP weighs 1.60–1.62 kilograms (3.53–3.57 pounds).
It further touts productivity-focused features like a backlit Pro Keyboard and a numeric keypad on the 16-inch version.
Interestingly, the 14-inch model appears to be the actual Enterprise device, as it is offered with up to Intel Core Ultra 7 vPro Processor (Series 3), as opposed to up to Intel Core Ultra 7 Processor (Series 3) for the 16-inch model.
Equally intriguing is the connectivity. The 16-inch model gets Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 6E, but the 14-inch model features either Bluetooth 6.0 and Wi-Fi 7 or Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 6E.
Both screen sizes feature the same wired connectivity, including USB-C x2, USB-A x2, HDMI, microSD, a universal audio jack, an RJ45 port, and a security slot. However, the 14-inch model has the option of Thunderbolt 4 in place of the standard USB-C x2 ports.
Other key technical highlights include an IPS WUXGA display with 1,920 x 1,200 resolution and 360 nits brightness, 16/32 GB LPDDR5X memory, 256 GB/512 GB/1 TB PCIe SSD storage, an expansion slot, an FHD (1080p) IR camera, internal dual-array digital microphones, stereo speakers (2 W x2), Dolby Atmos, and a built-in Clickpad trackpad. Both models are supplied with a 45 W USB Type-C adapter with a charging and data cable.
The Samsung Galaxy Book6 Enterprise Edition launched last month and is available in select markets through Samsung for Business.
