just when we thought 3K is the best a laptop could do, Toshiba announced the world’s first ultra HD laptops, the Tecra W50 and Satellite P50t, both featuring 15.6-inch display panel with eye-popping 3,840 x 2,160 resolution at 282 ppi. both devices’ displays are “color calibrated with accurate color gamut and feature wide viewing angles”, Toshiba adds. the first of two, the Tecra W50 is destined as a mobile workstation geared towards engineers and 3D designers, while the Satellite P50t is targeted at professional photographers, graphic designers and 4K movie enthusiasts. as for the look department, you expect the same sleek design flair expected from any Toshiba machines.
