If you’ve been waiting for an excuse to pull off impossible missile dodges while dramatic orchestral music blares in the background, Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve now has a launch date.
The latest entry in Bandai Namco’s long-running flight combat series arrives on October 2, taking players back to the skies of Strangereal for a new conflict filled with rival aces, massive aerial battles, and enough missiles to make your radar nervous.
The newly released trailer offers a better look at the game’s story, aircraft, and high-altitude action, while pre-orders will include a digital copy of Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War plus a playable F-14A.
And yes, the books are open for the video game on Bandai Namco Entertainment and on Amazon.com. All told, there are three editions: Standard (US$69.99), Deluxe (US$89.99), and a Joker Flight Pack (US$149.99). The latter is a Vinyl Collection + Deluxe Edition bundle for those who appreciate the soundtrack as well.
Available October 2, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
