The 80s was the golden age of action/sci-fi TV series. There was Knight Rider, The A-Team, Blue Thunder, Automan, Manimal, and then there was Airwolf—just to name a few. Speaking of Airwolf, it is finally getting some love from Factory Entertainment. The prop replica maker has revealed at San Diego Comic-Con the Airwolf Pilot Helmet Limited Edition Prop Replica.
It’s a dream come true for fans, albeit a tad late IMO, because kids who grew up watching this are now in their 40s and 50s, and I’m sure they would not plan for this in their life over their retirement plan. Anyhoo, an Airwolf Pilot Helmet is coming, alright.
Not a lot is known about this still-elusive collectible, but according to Steven Weintraub (@colliderfrosty) of Collider, the helmet will feature working lights and a visor that retracts into the helmet by flipping a button on the side. This is perhaps one of the most exciting bits of news, and possibly one of the most anticipated collectibles, yet Factory Entertainment has no official word on it. Well, at least none that we know of, anyway.
The brand didn’t even release official photos of it, despite the helmet being on display at SDCC.
