Coleman Just Solved the Biggest Problem With Coolers for Most Users

Coleman Snap ’N Go collapsible hard cooler folded and expanded showing compact storage design and rigid insulated structure

We have seen many inventive coolers. From one with an integrated chop board, to one that literally is a wheel to a cooler that doubles as a chair, we thought we had seen it all. While those and many others are cool (pun not intended, I swear!), they do not solve one key problem with coolers: bulk.

Well, that is until the Coleman Snap ’N Go Collapsible Hard Cooler comes along.

The problem with any cooler is that it is not an issue when you have a use for it. But what happens when you do not need it? It takes up unnecessary space in the vehicle and in the storage room. Not to mention it remains cumbersome to carry even when it is empty.

The Coleman Snap ’N Go Collapsible Hard Cooler eliminates this.

It is the world’s first collapsible hard cooler, featuring a patent-pending design that combines the durability and chill-retention properties of rigid coolers with the portability of soft cooler bags. When not in use, it folds down to just one-third of its size for easy storage and transportation.

And it does so while retaining the excellent chill-retention performance of a regular hard cooler, or perhaps even better, thanks to the rigid insulation. Coleman says the Snap ’N Go Collapsible Hard Cooler can keep ice for multiple days—up to 64 hours.

It is leakproof and boasts antibacterial protection. Collapsing or expanding the cooler takes only a matter of seconds.

The cooler is available in 35-, 45-, and 55-quart models. Depending on the model, you can pack anywhere from 64 to 93 cans, keeping them chilled from 48 hours up to 64 hours.

Obviously, such awesomeness does not come cheap. The Coleman Snap ’N Go Collapsible Hard Cooler costs US$199.99 for the 35-quart model, US$219.99 for the 45-quart model, and US$239.99 for the 55-quart model.
