However, truth be told, the real power lies in its expandability and this expandability comes at a cost – that’s if the $99.99 product haven’t already hurt your wallet enough.

Well, at least there’s a solution for those who have differences in body functions from regular person. I guess? Looking past the monetary aspect, Xbox Adaptive Controller is really a god-sent for gamers with disabilities.

However, if the large assortment of buttons and triggers aren’t enough or suited for a particular person who is say, wheelchair-bound, Freedom Wing Adapter, can effectively turn a power wheelchair into a game controller.

Logitech is also in the game of accessibility in gaming too. The company has launched the Logitech G Adaptive Gaming Kit that works with XAG to further expandable accessibility.

The kit includes 3 small buttons and 3 large buttons with gaming-grade mechanical switches, plus 4 light touch buttons, 2 variable trigger controls and a configurable game mats with a hook-and-loop system.

While we are not sure how much the Freedom Wing Adapter will cost, we do know that the Logitech G Adaptive Gaming Kit sells for $99.99. As you can see, XAG is a brilliant idea – without shadow of doubt, but the cost can add up pretty quickly. Like said before, it’s better to have solutions out there than none.
