ColorWare Adds A Nostalgic Feel To Joy-Cons And Pro Controller

Last August, we were enamored by ColorWare’s Joy-Cons Classic, the Joy-Con controllers for Nintendo Switch that has been customized with to look like the classic NES console. All 25 sets were swiftly snapped up and if you missed it, fret not, cos’ ColorWare has brought it back. Well, kind of… The Joy-Cons 8-bit, as it is called, is not quite the Joy-Cons Classic. It is close enough though, sporting a Nintendo gray and black design with hints of red on the ABXY buttons. Continue reading ColorWare Adds A Nostalgic Feel To Joy-Cons And Pro Controller

Jigglypuff Game Controller Looks Like The Result Of A Botched Teleportation

If you have some idea how teleportation works in theory, you will know the devastating consequences if the object in transit does not form as it should on the receiving end. Well, the custom Jigglypuff GameCube Game Controller you see here looks like the Pokemon monster had a botched teleportation. All hideous and grotesque as a result. I don’t know what went through the mind of the person who conceived this monstrosity. I mean, seriously, just look at the side-by-side comparison of the original adorable Jigglypuff (before she gets really pissed, obviously) and the product that arrived at the other end of the teleportation device. Oh Look, Playstation Now Has A Tiny PS4 Gamepad For Tiny Hands

Look at the Playstation DualShock4 controller. Are there anything wrong with it? With an ergonomic design, there are hardly anything wrong with it, but if you think the wireless freedom it offers and the size is a tad too big for your tiny hands, well then, Sony Playstation’s newly announced Sony Playstation Mini Wired Gamepad for PS4 will have you covered. Yes. It is supposed to be small, but to be honest, not by a lot (Sony said it is 40% smaller, btw). It looks kind of neat, I am not going to lie, but that’s if you can ignore the irritable cable sticking out of it. Continue reading Oh Look, Playstation Now Has A Tiny PS4 Gamepad For Tiny Hands

Striker VR Arena Infinity Could Be The Most Realistic VR Weapon Ever

VR gamers who love FPS, AKA first-person shooter, probably lament about how unrealistic VR weapons are and they’d be right because the so-called ‘weapons’ are way too lightweight to be realistic and the lack of realistic recoil doesn’t help much either. If you think the lack of realism inhibits immersion, well, help is here and it is called Striker VR Arena Infinity. Touting to possess “virtual recoil,” this hyper futuristic VR weapon not only addressed the weight and recoil issues with a meaty weight and realistic recoil, but it also boasts a realistic assault rifle-like form that appears to have taken inspiration from bullpup multirole combat rifles. HTC Vive Tracker And Audio Strap Pricing And Availability Announced

The lack of integrated audio and the wear comfort of the HTC Vive is, apparently, questionable, and also, it is kind of lonely because it is but a lone VR headset like so many of them out there. However, for $99.99 a pop, you can spruce up your experience with the Vive with the Vive Deluxe Audio Strap and/or the Vive Tracker. The former is an accessory that adds integrated headphones to the headset with “new comfort features” so you’d be inclined to wear it longer, and it gets a new sizing dial that will afford quick adjustments to fit single or multiple users. Razer Raiju Gaming Controller for PS4 Designed For Esports Launched

Announced last November, Razer Tournament-grade controller for Playstation 4 designed for Esports is now available in exchange for £149.99 (or about $186) of your hard-earned money. Don’t ask me why it has every other currency and not in US dollars. We can’t find it on U.S. online store either. Maybe it was an oversight? I don’t know. Anyways, if you are clueless about this pro-grade controller, it features additional programmable buttons, optimized esports ergonomics, and a Quick Control Panel, located conveniently on the front of the controller. The controller is pretty much the result of esports athletes’ input (particularly in the ergonomic aspect) and it was developed in close collaboration with Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe (SIEE).
