The team behind Godzilla Minus Zero, the sequel to the Academy Award-winning Godzilla Minus One, wants to get you pumped for the movie with a peek “behind the camera”. The two-minute clip offers a look at the film’s production and filming process.
Alongside massive practical sets, period-accurate postwar Japanese streetscapes, and returning stars Ryunosuke Kamiki and Minami Hamabe on set, the featurette highlights a first: Godzilla Minus Zero is the first Japanese production filmed for IMAX. Director and VFX supervisor Takashi Yamazaki can also be seen rallying the crew as he aims to surpass the visuals of his Oscar-winning film.
Godzilla Minus Zero opens in Japan through TOHO on November 3, 2026, followed by a wide North American theatrical and IMAX release through GKIDS on November 6, 2026. Keep going for the video clip.
