I don’t know whether to be excited or sad. Why? Excited because the long-anticipated GTA 6 is almost upon us, and sad because it hits me that time indeed flies. It probably does not matter if you are young. But when you are at my age, every single day, week, month, and year counts.
Anyhoo, it was 2023 when we saw the first trailer. In the blink of an eye, that was about 2.5 years ago. In between, in 2025, we got Trailer 2, and now Rockstar Games has dropped the most important news yet: pre-orders for the game will begin on June 25, 2026, on digital storefronts and at select retailers.
The game developer revealed the pre-order date alongside the official cover art. But before you go ga-ga, well, that’s for consoles only, namely PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. No word on the PC version yet.
Anyways, so yeah, it is finally happening.
