It is hard to associate a villain like Lord Voldemort from the Harry Potter franchise as a doll but here it is, the Harry Potter Design Collection Lord Voldemort Doll by Mattel Creations. Aside from Chucky, dolls are mostly synonymous with cuteness but He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named? Well, he is far from it. I guess it is a good thing because the sculpt is pretty spot on as far as dolls go.
Marking the 100 years of Warner Bros., Mattel Creations introduced the second iconic character in the series based on The Dark Lord’s appearance in the live-action movies in the series. Dear old Voldemort here carries the Elder wand and is garbed in his signature flowing silken green robes.
The doll stands 12 inches (about 30 cm) tall and it comes with a doll stand to aid in posing as it, like Barbie dolls, can quite stand on its own. It is packaged in textured packaging with gold foil and story details for display, along with a Certificate of Authenticity.
