Mattel Is Releasing A New 1:10 RC Cybertruck, This Time It will Come With A Cyberquad!

Hot Wheels Cybertruck 1:10 RC Truck

When Tesla revealed the Cybertruck in 2019, it created quite a stir for its design. Fast forward to 2020, Cybertruck continues to create a stir, this time by Mattel when the US$400 officially licensed RC Cybertruck was revealed and snapped as soon as it hit the shelves.

I am guessing most people who wanted one never actually did secure a unit. Fret not, though. Mattel Creations is at it again. The toy maker is releasing yet another Hot Wheels Cybertruck 1:10 RC Truck and this time, it is significantly affordable at US$100.

What you get for 100 bucks include the a 1:10 replica of the yet to be available Cybertruck with authentic wheels and tire treads, working head and tail lights. It will be fast too, topping out at a pretty mind-bending (RC speaks, of course) 12 miles an hour (19 km/h).

Each Hot Wheels Cybertruck 1:10 RC Truck will comes with a controller that mimics the actual steering wheel and accompanied by a “first-of-its-kind” free-rolling Cyberquad – as it appeared during the Cybertruck reveal event in 2019 – that fits on the bed of the RC truck. Now, that is dope!

The Hot Wheels Cybertruck 1:10 RC Truck will drop on May 21, 2021 at 9AM PST on creations.mattel.com. Hmmm, why do I have a feeling that it will fly off the shelves like the first version did? Anywho, be sure to keep your eyes peeled at Mattel Creations if you really want one.
