Some toys become legendary because everyone owned them. Others earn that status because nobody did. The Kenner Ecto-Glow Glow Copter belongs to the latter camp. It was meant to join Kenner’s The Real Ghostbusters Ecto-Glow lineup back in the day but never actually made it to store shelves. Thirty-five years later, Hasbro has finally busted it out of toy limbo.
Making its debut as a 2026 San Diego Comic-Con exclusive, the Kenner Classics The Real Ghostbusters Ecto-Glow Glow Copter Vehicle is exactly the kind of deep-cut release that gets longtime Ghostbusters fans grinning like they’ve just trapped Slimer. Styled after the classic Kenner toys from the late ’80s, it sports glorious glow-in-the-dark deco, a spinning rotor, and even comes armed with a ghost bomb. Because apparently busting ghosts from the air is a perfectly reasonable career move.
The set also includes Ecto-Glow Hero Louis Tully—yes, that Louis Tully—and the delightfully named Meanie Weenie Ghost. Both figures, along with parts of the vehicle and accessories, glow in the dark, rounding up the Ecto-Glow aesthetic.
The Kenner Classics The Real Ghostbusters Ecto-Glow Glow Copter Vehicle will be available exclusively at the Hasbro booth during San Diego Comic-Con 2026 for US$67.99 while supplies last. Missed out at the show? Hasbro says limited quantities will be available on Hasbro Pulse after the convention.
