The Marvel multiverse is a wonderful excuse to bring together characters who have no business being in the same room. And LEGO is taking full advantage of that with the new LEGO Marvel What If…? Doctor Strange Supreme (67005).
The 814-piece set draws inspiration from Marvel’s What If…? animated series and its Marvel Zombies spin-off. Strange Supreme, of course, originates from Season 1’s fourth episode, “What If… Doctor Strange Lost His Heart Instead of His Hands?”, while the zombie madness began in Episode 5, “What If… Zombies?!”
The result is a rather unusual Sanctum Sanctorum where alternate realities collide, and nobody seems particularly concerned about keeping the undead outside.
The three-level building features removable portals with sliding and switching mechanisms, mystical artifacts, and plenty of accessories. Among them are the Book of Cagliostro, Book of Vishanti, a zombie cure syringe, and even a zombie version of Stormbreaker.
Six minifigures are included: Strange Supreme, F.R.I.D.A.Y., Zombie Hunter Spider-Man, Red Queen, Zombie Namor, and Zombie Thor. Six posing sticks let you arrange them in midair for suitably dramatic battles.
The completed model stands over 29 cm (11.5 inches) tall and can connect to other sets in the LEGO Marvel World Building Collection.
The LEGO Marvel What If…? Doctor Strange Supreme (67005) launches on January 1, 2027, for US$99.99.
