Otto MagPowerX Wireless Charger Power Bank Costs 40% Less Than MagSafe Battery Pack And It Looks Prettier Too

Otto MagPowerX Wireless Charger Power Bank

While sleek, Apple MagSafe Battery Pack’s price is not for everyone. Besides, “sleek” is subjective. It is pretty on its own, but if you were to think “matching”, the rounded design of the official power bank for iPhone 12 is not quite “matching.” But the Otto MagPowerX Wireless Charger Power Bank, on the other hand, is (IMHO, anyways).

For an introductory price at nearly 40% less than Apple’s, it even has a few extras. Extras like 3 ports (including a USB-C, USB-A and a micro USB), simultaneous charging of 2 devices (wired and wireless), an integrated kickstand for horizontal and vertically orientation, and a digital display to show the balance charge available.

Aesthetically, it stood out with a wood back and a metal bezel that has straight edges like the iPhone 12. Very matching indeed and pretty too. Well, at least it looks pretty on photos.

Another boon is, the magnetic feature can also work with other phones, such as the Galaxy S21 and Apple iPhone 11, that does not have MagSafe, simply by sticking a magnetic sticker to the phone.

If you are sold by the idea, you may pick up the Otto MagPowerX Wireless Charger Power Bank from Kickstarter for US$63 or more. The campaign is funded and so, if everything thing goes as planned, it should see delivery sometime in November 2021. As with any Kickstarter campaigns, it has its risks and so, do exercise your own judgement.
