When Apple introduced MagSafe on iPhone 12, we thought it was a load of bulls. In hindsight, it is actually a wonder innovation since now there’s no worrying of wireless charging not charging due to misalignment and also, it makes wireless charging on-the-go possible.
Speaking of on-the-go charging, you know that Apple won’t miss out on the opportunity to sell you an official MagSafe power bank too and so, here it is, the MagSafe Battery Pack for iPhone 12. Not surprisingly, it is pricey, commanding nearly US$100 (US$99 to be precise).
Wirelessly charging an iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro will be a snap, literally, and safe and reliable because, magnets. The battery pack offers up to 15 W of wireless charging and when used with a 20 W, you can plug it in with the iPhone attached to charge both devices simultaneously. Recharging the pack requires a Lightning cable which is, of course, not included.
The Apple MagSafe Battery Pack for iPhone 12 is available from Apple.com now for the aforementioned US$99 a pop.
