Unlike Xbox, PlayStation is not quite known for themed controllers. Occasionally it does have one and the “occassionally” happens to be now. Folks, meet the PlayStation DualSense Astro Bot Limited Edition Wireless Controller. As the product name implies, this DualSense wireless controller is, well, Astro Bot-themed.
It may not have an impossibly rounded tush to flaunt but its Dual Speeder spaceship-inspired design is adorable in a very high-tech way. Besides the obvious Astro’s signature blue accents on the handles and buttons, and carved-in, sci-fi lines, the controller is rocking the trademark playful pair of eyes on the touch pad.
The PlayStation DualSense wireless controller — Astro Bot Limited Edition will roll out in limited quantities on September 06 for a yet-to-be-revealed sticker. Books for pre-ordering the controller will open on August 09, 2024. So if you want to secure a unit or two be sure to keep your eyes peeled on blog.playstation.com and the PlayStation online store.
