VR is the future of gaming and if you have not hop onboard the VR bandwagon already because of the somewhat prohibitive pricing, Sony Playstation is giving you a reason to do so. Well, almost. Sony Interactive Entertainment America has announced a new Playstation VR bundle which includes the Playstation VR headset and Playstation Camera for a MSRP of $399. Maybe I am not all into all things colored, but when the maestro of coloring gadgets posted a tweet of a Formula Red and Steel version of Nintendo’s latest game console, Switch, I am immediately sold. Indeed, as far as images go, steel color and red does look decidedly cool. No. In fact, it is beyond cool. It is ridiculously stylish, but of course, red and steel combo may not be everyone’s cuppa and that’s really not a problem if you just want to get away from the predominantly black unit. Sony Invites You To Step Into The Shoes Of Peter Parker At Sony Square NYC

If you are a huge fan of Spider-Man, well then you may want to swing by New York City because there’s a free wall-crawler-themed entertainment over at Sony Square NYC, located at 25 Madison Avenue. Called the Spider-Man: Homecoming VR Experience on Playstation VR, it is part VR arcade, part exhibition event where you will have the opportunity to get up close with props from the film, such Peter Parker’s backpack and Spider-Man costumes and you can also put yourself in Peter’s shoes by the virtue of virtual reality. With the VR experience, you get to leap off a crane to swing through the air in pursuit of Spider-Man’s nemesis, The Vulture, virtually, of course. Sony Announces 4K-capable Playstation 4 Pro And Slimmer PS4

The moment all Playstation fans have been looking forward to has finally arrived. Early today, in New York, Sony Interactive Entertainment has made official the much rumored new Playstation 4 console. As expected, the company took the wraps off not one, but two consoles, both which are Playstation 4. If you already own a PS4 (and a little more dough to drop), the Playstation 4 Pro, or PS4 Pro, is the one you want to look out for. The PS4 Pro touts a more powerful GPU and faster processor which enables it to support 4K resolution, as well as the now-rad High Dynamic Range (HDR) imaging technology, while promising to output smoother frame rates.
