Sony’s New Made-For-Pro Camera, the a9, Cost A Healthy $4,500

If you are just another photography enthusiast, you probably don’t need the new Sony a9 (ILCE-9) Full-frame Interchangeable Lens Camera. However, if you are pro photographer who make a living out of capturing beautiful images, then the a9 is what you want in your arsenal. Billed as the world’s first full-frame stacked CMOS sensor, this 24.2MP resolution digital camera promised unmatched speed, versatility and usability. Sony claims that the a9 offers capabilities not possible even a modern DSLR and that, it said, includes high-speed, blackout-free continuous shooting at up to 20fps, a maximum shutter speed of up to 1/32,000 second, and 693 point focal plane phase detection AF points with 60 AF/AE tracking calculations per second. Sony’s New SF-G Series SD Cards Write At 299 MB/s, Claims As World’s Fastest

Sony has announced a new SD cards, the SF-G series, which the electronics giant claimed “will be the world’s fastest SD cards” when it becomes available this spring. And what is the speed we are talking about? A write speed of up to 299 MB/s. That’s blazing fast as compared to the measly 80 or so we are getting on a Class 10 UHS-I variety and easily topping SanDisk Extreme PRO SDHC UHS-II and Lexar Professional 2000x UHS-II – both which touts read and write speeds of 300 MB/s and 260 MB/s, respectively. Without going too much in depth though, it is without doubt that this super speeds card is reserved for the pros, you know, for those who requires quick successive shooting and of course, 4K video recordings, for examples. Sony Announces Compact 50x Zoom Cyber-Shot HX350 Outside Of U.S.

If you ever wanted to capture images or videos from a very far off distance and thought only full-fledged DSLR could do it, well, think again. These days, many compact shooters, or the so-called prosumer cameras, are more than capable of going to length and the recently announced Sony Compact 50x Super Zoom Cyber-shot HX350 Digital Camera is one such camera. The HX350 was announced for the European and Asia Pacific market and as the model name implies, it is indeed a successor to the HX300. Having said that, it does share some features with the HX300, most notably, the 20.4MP BSI Exmor R CMOS sensor and of course, the insane 50x zoom lens.
