In the past, however rich you may be, you still had to put up with “commoner” appliances. Thankfully, brands like Miele, SMEG, Monogram, and more recently SKS made sure your kitchen no longer feels like it shops at the same place as everyone else. Speaking of SKS… it started life as Signature Kitchen Suite in 2016, and at last year’s KBIS, LG refreshed the name to simply “SKS.” Fast forward to 2026, and LG is expanding the SKS luxury appliance portfolio at KBIS in Orlando. The big headline is the brand’s first-ever luxury laundry lineup. Yes, luxury laundry.
Leading the charge is the SKS WashCombo with a generous 5.8-cubic-foot capacity. It features AI Wash & Dry with AI DD technology for precise fabric care and a Dual Inverter Heat Pump for energy-efficient, low-temperature drying. Paired with it is a 9.0-cubic-foot SKS dryer with AI Sensor Dry that automatically adjusts time and temperature based on moisture and fabric texture. You can configure it as a 3-in-1 system with a 1.0-cubic-foot MiniWash or keep it streamlined as a pair.
The kitchen side is not ignored. SKS introduces 36-inch Integrated Column Freezer and Refrigerator units with panel-ready design, dual ice maker with 60mm Craft Ice, internal water dispenser, and AI Ice Pro and AI Fresh to anticipate heavy usage. There is also a 36-inch Full-Flex Induction Cooktop with flexible zones up to 320 millimeters, AI Water Boiling Alert, and Power Shift Plus heat adjustment.
All models feature a 6.8-inch LCD touch display and a seamless Full-Flat design to blend into luxury interiors. Of course, every appliance has a display. I mean, that’s one of LG’s strengths, and dare I say, it will be a missed opportunity not to leverage it.
Pricing is to be announced.
The KBIS 2026 is set to happen from February 17 to 19, 2026, at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, Florida.
