Transformers: Generations Power Of The Primes Evolution Optimus Prime (Reissue)

Transformers: Generations Power Of The Primes Evolution Optimus Prime (Reissue)

I am going to let you on a piece of news that may make you go mad if you have recently purchased the Transformers: Generations Power Of The Primes Evolution Optimus Prime that was originally released in 2017. Hasbro has just announced a reissue of the toy, with the same exact packaging.

But if you did pick it up recently and did not pay more than US$54.99 for it, then you are good because that’s what Hasbro is selling for the reissue. The original 2017 version sells for US$45.99. So, yeah, it is also a victim of inflation.

I don’t get anything out of it if you buy this toy after reading this but I am going to say that you should. Here’s why. If you are a casual collector who is in the market for a good Optimus Prime figure with a story of its beginning, this is it. How do I know? Because I have this toy. My only gripe is the trailer appears to be pieced together but it is not a deal breaker for me.

The Transformers: Generations Power Of The Primes Evolution Optimus Prime (Reissue) is the perfect mix of nostalgia and fun for any Transformers fan. Starting as Orion Pax, a humble data clerk, this figure lets you recreate the iconic moment when he transforms into Optimus Prime, the legendary leader of the Autobots.

The 5.5-inch (14 cm) Orion Pax figure evolves into a towering 9-inch (23 cm) Optimus Prime with the help of converting Evolution Armor. It’s more than just a transformation—it’s an evolution, or as Transformers fans may put it: part-forming. But this is one part-forming many fans will embrace.

The set includes a Matrix of Leadership accessory that fits snugly in Optimus Prime’s chest. For those looking to unlock the full Power of the Primes, the Matrix can also hold Prime Master figures (sold separately), adding even more layers to Optimus’s power.

With 33 conversion steps to reach Optimus’s full tractor-trailer mode, this figure will keep you on your toes (trust me, it is fun!). The Orion Pax figure itself converts in 15 steps, challenging fans to master the art of transformation.

If you are down, the Transformers: Generations Power Of The Primes Evolution Optimus Prime (Reissue) can be had as we speaker for the aforementioned US$54.99 from Hasbropulse.com.
