If you haven’t already heard, the fifth and final season of Stranger Things is happening soon. Also, if you don’t know, November 6 was Stranger Things Day. Yup. It’s a thing. Why November 6, though? Well, it was the day on which Will Byers disappeared in the show. I know, right? The marketing team is genius! Anyhoo, to mark Stranger Things Day, Hasbro has officially unveiled a new Stranger Things x Transformers collaborative product inspired by the WSQK van, which will be appearing in the show.
In the teaser video, you can kinda get a glimpse of it with Steve in it, but barely, since you know everything Stranger Things 5 is dark and gloomy. The Transformers Stranger Things Freakwency & 8-Trax marks the second van from the show to be turned into a Transformers character. I bet Eleven and team would love to have Code Red or Freakwency and 8-Trax on their team and make Vecna regret being born.
The new Transformers x Stranger Things Freakwency & 8-Trax set continues the nostalgia-fueled madness. Freakwency transforms from a 6-inch (15.2 cm) robot into the WSQK radio van in just 16 steps, while 8-Trax flips between a vintage 8-track tape and a hawk mode in 8 steps—because in the Upside Down, even birds come with audio formats. To top it off, there’s a chicken accessory that turns into a blaster in 6 steps. Yes, you read that right: there’s a chicken that shoots. Somewhere out there, Michael Bay is taking notes.
At US$57.99, this crossover is both a collector’s dream and a fever dream. Pre-orders are live now on Target.com and Hasbro Pulse, with shipments expected to roll out in 2026, after you have finished Stranger Things Season 5.
