BMW Motorrad and VAGABUND have teamed up to reimagine the future of urban mobility with the BMW CE 02 x VAGABUND. This one-of-a-kind eParkourer blends futuristic design with retro flair, creating a two-wheeler that’s as much a statement piece as it is a city cruiser.
Born from the creative minds at VAGABUND Design & Makers Studio in Graz, Austria, this project takes the already innovative BMW CE 02 and transforms it into something truly unique, capturing the imagination of urban explorers.
When VAGABUND first laid eyes on the CE 02 at BMW Motorrad Days in Berlin, it was love at first sight. The sleek, forward-thinking design of the CE 02 was a perfect canvas for VAGABUND’s “retro-future” vision.
By infusing the modern electric motorcycle with retro vibes, they aimed to evoke a sense of familiarity while keeping it fresh and exciting. The result is a stylish ride that feels both ahead of its time and comfortably nostalgic, appealing to a younger, creative audience.
The BMW CE 02 x VAGABUND stands out not just for its bold looks, but also for its thoughtful integration of functionality with fun. A standout feature is the inclusion of the OB-4 Magic Radio from Teenage Engineering, bringing music into the heart of the ride.
This nod to retro elements is coupled with modern twists, like the quirky “electric exhaust” that doubles as a holder for an umbrella—because why not? The running boards, featuring skateboard grip tape, emphasize the bike’s sporty, urban eParkourer style, making it clear this is a machine built for the streets.
This bike isn’t just a pretty face, though. It comes in a massive 3.6-meter-high package that’s as eye-catching as the bike itself, underscoring the bold and playful spirit of the collaboration.
