Instead of chasing trends, Dell used CES 2026 to reset its own story. XPS returned with pride, Alienware widened its net, and UltraSharp reminded everyone who still builds “work-first” displays. No weird pivots. No identity crisis. Just Dell, doing Dell, but louder. Well, it sure looks like Dell is backing away from the “Pro/Pro Max” branding it introduced last year. We could be wrong, but I believe Pro Max is not back to be known as “Precision”.
Here is the quick rundown of what Dell has to offer:
XPS 14 and XPS 16: XPS Is Back, and the Logo Is on the Lid
XPS has officially returned, and Dell is making a point of it. For the first time, the XPS logo now sits on the laptop cover, as a flag planted back where it belongs.
The new XPS 14 and XPS 16 use CNC-machined aluminum bodies and are Dell’s thinnest laptops yet, at just 14.6 mm thick. The XPS 14 weighs about 1.36 kg (3 lb), and the XPS 16 comes in at about 1.63 kg (3.6 lb). Both are significantly lighter than the previous generation.
Battery life is a headline feature, with up to 27 hours of Netflix streaming and over 40 hours of local video playback. Displays include tandem OLED options, paired with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and Intel Arc graphics with 12 Xe cores. The focus is simple: premium build, long battery life, strong visuals, and real portability.
XPS 13: The Return of the Most Accessible XPS
Later this year, Dell will bring back the XPS 13. This version is positioned as the thinnest and lightest XPS ever, and also the most affordable entry point into the XPS lineup.
Dell is clearly using the XPS 13 to widen the funnel, making the brand less of a luxury badge and more of a premium default for everyday users.
Alienware’s Bigger, Broader Laptop Lineup
Alienware is doubling its laptop range to reach more types of gamers. Two new classes are coming.
One is an ultra-slim gaming laptop at around 17 mm thick, aimed at players who want serious performance without carrying a brick. The other is a new entry-level Alienware laptop, designed to bring the brand to much lower price points than before.
This is Alienware admitting that not everyone wants a glowing spaceship of a laptop, and that is a good thing.
Alienware Area-51 Laptops and Desktops: OLED and New CPUs
Alienware is also upgrading its high-end gear. The Area-51 16 and 16X Aurora laptops now use anti-glare OLED displays, solving one of the biggest complaints about OLED in bright rooms. You still get deep blacks and high contrast, just without fighting reflections.
These models, along with the Alienware 18 Area-51, run on Intel Core Ultra 200HX processors.
On the desktop side, the Alienware Area-51 Desktop switches to AMD Ryzen 9850X3D with 3D V-Cache technology, built for maximum gaming performance.
Dell UltraSharp 52 Thunderbolt Hub Monitor: 52 Inches, 6K
Dell went big. Literally.
The UltraSharp 52 Thunderbolt Hub Monitor is the world’s first 52-inch 6K display. It is also the first monitor to reach the highest tier of TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification.
This is built for people who hate multi-monitor setups. Traders, engineers, data scientists, and executives get one massive screen instead of three smaller ones, with Thunderbolt hub features built in.
Dell UltraSharp 32 4K QD-OLED: QD-OLED for Creators
The UltraSharp 32 4K QD-OLED is the first commercial DisplayHDR True Black 500 QD-OLED monitor with Anti-Glare Low-Reflectance technology. It even picked up a CES 2026 Innovation Award.
It is designed for creative professionals who want perfect color accuracy without dimming the room to avoid glare. After Alienware brought QD-OLED to gamers, Dell is now claiming it for creators.
