Razer Updates Blade Stealth With Larger Display And Gunmetal Option

The Razer Blade Stealth introduced last year, the late 2016 model with a 12.5-inch IGZO multitouch display has gotten an update. It is now larger, at 13.3-inch boasting an eye-watering QHD+ display with 3,200 x 1,800 pixels. Still as thin as ever, measuring a mere 0.52 inches (13 mm) and tipping the scale at 2.93 pounds (1.32 kilograms), the new Razer Blade Stealth features an alluring CNC-milled aircraft-grade aluminum now in a choice of black or gunmetal gray finish. Meet Notebook Odyssey, Samsung’s First-ever Gaming Laptop

Samsung isn’t exactly the name for gaming hardware, but that hasn’t stop this other South Korean electronics giant, Samsung, from diving into it. The company’s first-ever gaming laptop, Notebook Odyssey made its debut yesterday and boy, does it look all business. It even as a specially designed logo to show it does indeed mean business (think: ASUS ROG). Coming at 17.3-inch and 15.6-inch, Notebook Odyssey is, expected, Samsung kind of sleek and touting quite a few delightful features which include an advanced cooling and ventilation system known as HexaFlow Vent, 7th-generation Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA GTX1050 graphics with up to 4GB VRAM, up to 300 nits backlit anti-glare FHD display, ergonomically curved keycaps, backlit WASD keys (15-inch model only), and customizable backlit color of individual keycaps (17-inch model). So, Razer announcement in Europe has nothing to do with THX acquisition. Instead, we saw a new big-ass laptop popping into the gaming world, the 17-inch Razer Blade Pro Gaming Laptop. Billed as the thinnest and lightest desktop replacement in the world, the 17-inch Razer Blade Pro Gaming Laptop’s unibody CNC aluminium chassis measures mere 0.88 inches (22.5 mm) and tips the scale at under 8 lbs (7.8 lbs, or 3.54 kg, to be precise). Look-wise, it shares much of the aesthetic as its smaller siblings, which has become a design language adopted by Razer in recent years. New Razer Blade 14-inch Gaming Laptop Unveiled, Priced At $1,999 And Up

Razer is relentless in making on-the-go gamers happy. The new Razer Blade 14-inch gaming laptop is part of that relentless effort. The new Blade now gets the latest 6th generation Intel Core i7 quadcore processor with up to 3.5GHz clock speed and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M GPU, packing 6GB of VRAM. Also onboard is PCIe SSD technology, which is the obvious choice if you are serious about gaming, since it touts up to 3X faster speeds over traditional SSD. ASUS Showoff Insane, Water-cooled 4K Gaming Laptop at IFA 2015

There’s limits to how powerful a gaming laptop could be, as we all know, laptop isn’t something that promotes fast cooling, which is a prerequisite for any insanely powerful rig. But if ASUS has its way, maybe, just maybe, crazy powerful laptops could be a reality and the crazy contraption you see here, dubbed GX-700, is probably the answer to over-the-top powerful on-the-road gaming rigs.
