Dell Redesigned PC Portfolio

One more piece of news from Dell, and this one’s going to send shockwaves through fans and Apple haters alike. The tech giant has dropped its redesigned PC portfolio at CES 2025, blending simplicity, power, and a heavy dose of AI into its lineup. And trust me. Not everyone will be pleased because it is now very Apple-like.

There are basically three “grades” of Dell PCs: Dell, Dell Pro, and Dell Pro Max. Yup. If this isn’t a page from Apple’s playbook… Is it better? I guess only time will tell but one thing is for sure: some loyal users ain’t pleased. Anyhoo, according to Dell, here’s what each category is for:

  • Dell: Designed for play, school, and work.
  • Dell Pro: Designed for professional-grade productivity.
  • Dell Pro Max: Designed for maximum performance.

Thankfully Alienware is spared from this Apple-inspired portfolio redesign.

These PCs boast cutting-edge AI, multi-day battery life, sleek designs, and even modular USB-C ports for easier repairs. For developers, the Dell Pro AI Studio slashes AI build times from months to weeks. Plus, with gorgeous displays featuring IPS Black and AI-enhanced 3D Spatial Sound, Apple might have to rethink its smugness. Prices vary, so there’s room for all budgets.
