The Hot Wheels RC 1:64 Nissan Skyline R32 Pandem sold out promptly, and it is not surprising. Licensed 1:64 scale RC cars are not common, and even less common are ones made of die-cast metal. I suspect the same scenario will play out with Hot Wheels’ next 1:64 scale die-cast RC car, the Hot Wheels RC 1:64 Lamborghini Temerario Alleggerita.
Based on the Raging Bull marque’s latest hybrid hypercar, this tiny remote-control toy puts you behind the wheel without your bank account breaking a sweat like the real car would. It may be tiny, but it touts RC tech usually found on larger-scale RC cars, including working lights, custom 10-spoke Real Riders wheels, and a pistol-grip-style remote control with proportional throttle, precision steering, and two driving modes: low and high.
Though it does not appear to have fully proportional steering like the HPI Racing Nano-TTR series. I could be wrong.
The headlights, taillights, and HEX DLR/status lights can all be controlled from the hobby-grade remote. Speaking of which, it has turn signals too, which automatically activate when you steer the car.
The RC car is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and comes with a charging cable, as well as an original artwork by Lamborghini Design Director Mitja Borkert.
The Hot Wheels RC 1:64 Lamborghini Temerario Alleggerita comes presented in a decorative box with a slipcover, perfect for display when not burning the tarmac… well, I mean, your desk or home’s floor.
It is set to launch on May 11, 2026, at 9 AM PT, for US$55. So keep your eyes peeled on the product page if you do not want to miss this.
