At the mention of a Transformers helmet, head, or bust, you probably think Killerbody. Well, not this time. Granted, McFarlane Toys’ spin on the head—which the toy maker oddly calls a “bust”—is not wearable like most Killerbody creations.
Officially called the Transformers Optimus Prime 1:1 Scale Replica Bust, it marks McFarlane Toys’ first life-size Cybertronian collectible. It measures 23 inches (about 58 cm) tall and comes with a display stand.
That’s it. You cannot wear it. It has no lights, sounds, moving parts, or inspirational speeches about freedom. It is just Optimus Prime’s head, staring sternly at your questionable life choices.
This 1:1-scale bust of the Autobot leader joins McFarlane Toys’ 1:3-scale replica busts of Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Megatron. It is available now for US$129.99.
