Being a Pokémon trainer means going places to catch’em all. But it didn’t have to be so tedious because some Pokémon creatures are buildable – thanks to Mega Collectors Mega Pokemon Collection.
For the initiated, Mega Collectors is kind of Mattel’s answer to LEGO Ultimate Collector Series, and therefore, you can expect some pretty serious details such as we have seen in sets like the Mega MOTU Snake Mountain, the Mega Construx MOTU Castle Grayskull, and more.
Actually no. The Mega Collectors Mega Pokemon Collection took it to the next level with some of the sets. Mega has added motion to two sets, namely, Mega Collectors Mega Pokemon Motion Gyarados, and Mega Collectors Mega Pokemon Motion Pikachu.
Both are fully mechanized building sets that include a display case and feature animated movements when the toys are activated by a hand-turned crank. Cranking the lever will make Gyarados open the mouth, flap the tail, and pivot the neck while making the “wave” splashes, and Pikachu gallops across a rocky path, moving his legs, feet, and tail.
In addition to the animated sets, there are other static but posable sets including Jumbo Eevee, Jumbo Pikachu, Squirtle Evolution Construction Set, and a Jumbo Poke Ball set.
